Walking sticks and crutches come in all different sizes and types, walking sticks used by people with walking disabilities are usually called crutches, as crutches have more support. Walking sticks and canes are only held in the hand, and cause of this they have limited support capability compared to crutches. Cane is a type of perennial grasses from the Poaceae plant that grow throughout the world, but we will discuss different types of walking canes in this article, some of are made out of flexible, woody stalks from this plant.
